What is Outgunned: Adventure?
Outgunned: Adventure is a pulp-action tabletop RPG built on the cinematic Director’s Cut system used in Outgunned. Players take on the role of daring explorers—Adventurers—seeking priceless relics hidden in dangerous ruins around the world.
Stories in Outgunned: Adventure often unfold around the 1920s to 1940s, when the world held unexplored jungles, forgotten pyramids, and mysterious relics waiting to be discovered.
One player acts as the Director, shaping the story by portraying rivals, villains, and dangerous environments. The other players play Adventurers, bold treasure hunters racing against time—and rival explorers—to claim the prize first.
The game can be played as a standalone RPG, or combined with the Outgunned core rulebook for even more cinematic mechanics and character options.

- Play Daring Adventurers — Create treasure hunters inspired by pulp classics, such as thrill-seeking daredevils, pragmatic technicians, fearless captains, and curious archaeologists.
- Director’s Cut Dice System — Outgunned uses the cinematic Director’s Cut system, where players roll pools of six-sided dice and look for matching sets to pull off daring feats.
- Lost Temples and Deadly Traps — Explore dangerous ruins filled with collapsing floors, poisoned darts, hidden traps, and ancient puzzles guarding legendary treasures.
- Treasure-Hunting Campaigns — Stories revolve around the search for a priceless treasure, with Adventurers racing rivals and surviving dangerous expeditions to claim it first.
- Supernatural Threats — Not every mystery has an explanation. The game includes rules and enemies for supernatural dangers, such as cursed relics and otherworldly creatures that turn expeditions into deadly encounters.
- Guns and Gear — Adventurers rely on a mix of weapons, tools, and unique exploration gear—from pistols to machetes to grappling hooks. Equipment grants bonuses or enables special actions to overcome obstacles during expeditions.
