THE SETTING
Candela Obscura unfolds in a world much like our own, but where the thin veil separating reality from the occult is constantly under threat. Shadowy forces bleed into the world, bringing corruption, strange magick, and horrors that twist what they touch.
To protect society from these hidden threats, the secretive order of Candela Obscura recruits investigators of varied talents to track down supernatural incursions, confront sinister cults, and contain the spread of bleed. It’s a setting of gaslit streets, flickering lanterns, and hidden rituals—where every investigation risks revealing truths too dark to face alone.

You’ll choose a Drive that fuels your character’s determination, a Specialty reflecting their unique skills, and assign traits that shape how they confront the occult.
